The Right Leather Headboard for Your Budget

Adding a leather headboard to your bedroom is a great way to add some excitement to the room, especially since it attracts a lot of attention. Since leather headboards have become more popular over the recent years, there are now many different options to choose from. In this article, I’ll share some of my favorites that I’ve recently come across while shopping for a new leather headboard.

Of course everyone has a different budget, so I’ll discuss a few different options. The first option is on the average side if you’re looking for a quality piece of furniture. Crate and Barrel exclusively sells the Archer Leather Headboard.

This headboard can be purchased between $999.00 and $1,099.00 (depending on the size). This bed has been receiving great ratings and customer reviews. It’s inspired by a 1940’s Hollywood slipper chair. The headboard has button-tufted detailing and combines subtle wings. At this price, expect it to be durable as it comes with a protective coating to protect the leather. It’s made in a deep brown color and also has caramel accents at the seams, which provides more of a vintage look.

The next option is a great option if you’re on a tighter budget. JC Penney is offering the Nash Bonded Leather Head Board for $379.00 to $599.00 (depending on size). They have a nice selection in this price range as well.

The Nash Bonded Leather Head Board has a gracious arch that really stands out. This bed is extremely durable, especially considering the price range. It’s made with a bonded-leather, consisting of polyester/cotton and polyurethane. With this protection, this headboard is protected from any sunlight or spills. It will also withstand natural wear which will keep it looking new as well. The headboard is packed with polyester foam, providing a comfortable back, so it’s always going to be comfortable when you’re leaning back!

Horchow.com has a great selection of quality furniture. I still don’t consider this extremely high-end, but it’s a quality you’ll be very happy with and will last a long time. If you’re looking for a deep brown leather headboard, they have a great product.

The Old Hickory Tannery Headboard costs between $1,399.00 and $1,799.00 (depending on size). This elegant board has a maple frame and tufted brown leather. The frame has a hand-rubbed antique looking mahogany rubbed finish and the leather is covered with a material that’s similar to heavy muslin. This leather headboard can last a lifetime!

These are some of my favorite leather boards I’ve recently come across. Prices and quality vary, but for the price ranges mentioned above these headboards are some of the best around.
